JSP SHRARA — Public correction and objection register
A knowledge platform should not hide its mistakes. That is why, with every correction, we want to make visible which previous claim was adjusted and why.
A correction is an event
The future register will contain a unique dossier ID, the original wording, the date of publication, the reason for the correction, the newly reviewed evidence, and the amended conclusion. Previous versions may not be replaced invisibly, except for the lawful removal of sensitive personal data.
Right to object
A reader, researcher, or involved party must be able to signal a concrete error. The platform must distinguish receipt and processing from substantive agreement. Even a rejected objection deserves a traceable reason without public humiliation of the person submitting it.
Correction types
We distinguish between typos without substantive consequences, substantive rectifications, new evidence, changed definitions, retracted analyses, and serious safety or privacy reports. Not every type requires the same degree of urgency or publicity.
Independence
Editorial decision-makers must be replaced or additionally assessed in the event of a conflict of interest. External experts are allowed to find errors, even if they confirm or undermine our original view.
Development status
This is the public policy and data model; a fully operational reporting form, processing system, and external appeal body are yet to be developed.
Accountability
This is an editorial or technical design document in the public development environment. It does not prove that a globally automated check or substantive validation is already functional. Facts, opinions, interpretations, and uncertainties remain distinguished.
A real correction register starts with real errors
As of October 9, 2026, the new administrative correction structure counts zero substantive correction records. An empty list does not prove that errors are impossible. The register will only contain a real event once it can be recorded and assessed in a responsible manner. Open the current snapshot →
