How We Verify

We do not promote an idea into a fact because it looks convincing. JIM STEPHEN PINAS uses a staged evidence model so visitors, clients, partners and investors can see what is actually true.

Our status ladder

  1. Designed — the requirement and intended behavior are documented.
  2. Built — working code or infrastructure exists.
  3. Locally tested — core behavior has passed controlled tests.
  4. Sandbox tested — integrations work in a non-production environment.
  5. Security tested — relevant controls and abuse cases have been tested.
  6. Legally / regulatorily reviewed — applicable requirements have been identified and reviewed.
  7. Externally validated where required — a regulator, supplier, auditor, partner or other independent party has confirmed the required element.
  8. Production-ready — technical, contractual, legal and operational gates are satisfied.
  9. Live — real customers can use the service.
  10. Monitored — live behavior is actively observed and incidents are managed.

What this prevents

A polished demo is not silently labelled a product. A signed partner conversation is not described as a commercial agreement. A security design is not described as a certification. A future capability is not sold as a current capability.

QUARK enforcement

QUARK makes this distinction part of the architecture: evidence before authority, UNKNOWN before invented certainty, and human accountability before consequential automation.
