JSP SHRARA / ASSESSMENT REGISTER · Editorial architecture · October 9, 2026
Who assesses the claim?
A written-down claim is not an approved news item. A source link does not yet make a statement fully proven. Therefore, JSP SHRARA now separates the claim dossier from the assessment dossier and the subsequent publication decision. These three steps have different responsibilities.
A separate, shielded review record
A shrara_review data definition has been included in the existing Shopify administration. This includes, among other things, a unique assessment code, claim code, source references, identity and role of an assessor, assessment scope, source verification, counter-evidence, rights, privacy, potential conflicts of interest, decision, and justification. Creating such a record explicitly does not mean the content has been verified.
What questions should an assessor ask?
Which original source supports this exact wording? Do different publications truly refer to independent information, or do they repeat a single source? Are there older versions, incomplete quotes, or additional documents? What evidence contradicts the preliminary conclusion? Are a hypothesis, opinion, belief, scientific result, or satire carefully described as such?
Caution with people and their reputation
A public dossier can affect reputations, safety, and privacy. For claims regarding individual persons, children, medical diagnoses, crimes, and elections, additional editorial checks apply. Journalistic investigation must not present an inaccuracy as a deliberate lie without evidence. Even a substantiated correction is not a free pass to distribute irrelevant personal data.
Incompatible interests
When a dossier concerns JSP HOLDING, a partner, one of our own advertisers, or a competitor, the conflict of interest must be brought into view. Where independent expertise is required, an internal assessment cannot simply pass for independent validation.
What already exists, what does not yet?
The administrative review scheme has been created and shielded from the public storefront. A truly appointed independent editorial board, formal external verification, and an enforceable authorization system have not yet been realized with this. Our first sample entries therefore do not yet carry an independent SHRARA approval.
